So we are currently in Toronto Pearson International Airport and are awaiting our 14 hour flight to Shanghai. Our plane from the Twin Cities was nearly empty and from the looks of it so will our flight to Shanghai. thats a good thing. I hate super packed flights. You just feel so stuffy and rushed.
First and foremost, as you gathered from the Post header, we finally got our Canada immigration stamp! we've been here like 3-4 times only to have them NOT stamp our passports. I dont know about you guys, but Mai Kao and I love our passport stamps and visas. They're kind of like Boy Scout badges that you collect to show all the places you've been in life.
Our flight to Toronto took off at 6 in the morning so that meant that Mai Kao and I had to be to the airport by around 4AM. That also meant that we needed to wake up around 3AMish. Not bad right? well, to make things harder on ourselves we didnt fall asleep until around 1AM for me and 2AM for Mai Kao! by the time we boarded the plane, Mai Kao and I were so tired that we didnt even remember taking off and landing.
Please remember to pray for strength for me in these early days in Shanghai as I go straight to work after a grueling 3 week travel schedule. i dont know how Sports athletes do it, even with their supreme conditioning, it still has to be draining. Also, please remember to pray for Mai Kao and I as we make our transition to living in Shanghai.
Josh out.
