One of the teachers here we immediately became friends with is a Cambodian guy named Dan Khuon. (He's about... Xay's age.) Our first conversations were about lamenting the fact that Chinese people don't do Siracha sauce, lemongrass, limes or qhob poob. We knew he was from Michigan, but when he was really little, his parents actually lived in Chicago.
Well, we met his parents yesterday because they're visiting for a few weeks. To make a long story short, we get to chit chatting and then the dad goes, "I knew a Hmong guy named Mr. Lee." Which Mr. Lee could it be? Xaiv Dang Lee as in these people were Sarah Lee & Douachi's neighbors! What the..?!!? Dan's sisters played with the other Hmong girls that lived on that College Ave. apartment block. So we realize, it is indeed, a small world after all.

Anyway, I was thinking... why stay another year in China? If its only for economic reasons, you guys should move back. thats my honest selfish reason. have you guys still have unfinished business down there, I would agree with you. what is it? if it's the ecomony, then you guys should move back, people need you guys. and magic too. lol - ok - thats part of the real reason. wouldnt it be cool if all the brothers lived together in MN? Jake, La, me, Kokes, the Kongs, Yig 2, and You? fun times... i think La is going to make a huge pitch for you guys to stay when you get here lol. don't be afraid, take it as he misses you thats all.
