Chips here are not what they are like at home. At all. Take your classic yellow bag of Lay's. I bought a bag so excited, and when we ate them, we were like, "What's this...??!?"
We figured out the problem immediately. What are the ingredients?
From the bag: Potato, Vegetable Oil, Salt, Monosoduim Glutamate, Disodium 5'-Ribonucleotide.
MSG chips. Ah yes. If traffic doesn't kill us, it could be the MSG.
The flip side of this is, as you can see from our slideshow, Josh and I went on a chip frenzy. (Go to the Flickr site for a closeup of the pixes.) You won't believe the flavors they have here. We finally went to the store last night and bought as much as we could without looking ridiculous.
